Hi, I'm Erica.
A Cascadia-based freelancer specializing in brand strategy, identity design, art direction, and illustration.
Born and raised in a confluence of the Salish Sea, Olympics and the Cascade Range- I am an avid outdoors person. Splitboarder, snowboarder, climber, (novice) surfer, trail runner, yogi, gravel and mountain biker.
Education includes a Pre-College program through Cornish College of the Arts. I graduated from Western Washington University in 2015 with a BA in Graphic Design and a minor in Environmental Studies. Before diving into the professional world full-time, I attended a design-focused study abroad in Germany and Switzerland.
Over the last decade, I have studied and worked as a designer with an emphasis on the outdoor industry. Under the LLC Mountainmind, I have worked in a range of media from clothing design to craft beverage packaging. Always backed with the environment and sustainability in mind, a holistic approach to branding is my niche. Aside from design work, I am an Arc'teryx (Seattle regional) Ambassador, Kona Bikes Ambassador, Co-founder of Cascadia Splitfest, and product tester/flow rider for Arbor Snowboards.
Passionate about making meaningful connections, my work is constantly inspired by building brands that share a love of the outdoors and elevating others.
